Our farm has a long wedding history. For many years, while the property was owned by the United Church of Christ, it was rented out for barn weddings, with the bridal party having the run of the farmhouse. Early in our tenure here, we continued to host weddings. During the last wedding we hosted, between navigating the complexity of milking cows during vows but before loud partying, and doing VIP parking up by the house for those who couldn’t make the long walk from the west field to the barn, a turkey fiasco was the final straw. That year we were raising Bourbon Red Turkeys, and they typically roosted in a shed by the barn. However, as dusk began to fall- the turkeys were alarmed by the wedding festivities in the barn and chose instead to try and roost on all of the luxury VIP parked vehicles! As Sarah rallied interns to clean turkey poo off SUVs and ran around with a leaf rake shooing the turkeys off vehicles and gritting her teeth as their claws scrabbled on BMW paint jobs- she decided that this was not the way she wanted to participate in celebrating folks’ weddings anymore…

Instead…wedding favors from our hearts to yours! This is how we are continuing our land’s wedding legacy. We can create custom card stock hang tags for you; make one-of-a-kind wood burned tokens for favors; add a charm that speaks to your story, and offer a variety of ribbon and tie styles. You can also do all the hard work and research- and get bare naked syrup-filled bottles- and put it together yourself. Please get in touch to discuss your ideas and big day!
